Professional Radiology appreciates the important role radiologists can play in educating referring physicians in the appropriate use of imaging studies.  We are dedicated to aiding the implementation of Appropriateness Criteria into computerized ordering EHR systems to ensure the appropriate ordering of medical imaging studies.  

PRI, through our Department Medical Directors, aids in developing Radiology Department efficiency.  We are committed to helping find areas of cost savings through traditions methods and also to assist our partners with risk-based payment models.  While serving in such a capacity we can help develop the future value-added role of the radiologist.
